Founded in 1986, Paris College of Art (PCA) is a private university in Paris, France. The university is a degree granting institution of higher learning under the authority of the State of Delaware and is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). PCA's mission is to provide the highest standard of art and design education, taught within an American pedagogical paradigm, while being influenced and informed by our French and European environment. Our international faculty is comprised of 100 leaders in the art, design, and business industries in Europe and courses are taught in English. PCA offers an interdisciplinary education for 300 full-time students coming from 50 different countries, and awards BFA degrees in: Art History, Theory & Criticism; Communication Design; Illustration; Fashion Design; Fine Arts; and Photography as well as a BBA degree in Design Management. Part-time Adjunct Instructors
Paris College of Art, located in Paris, France, is currently accepting applications for part-time adjunct instructors for the Critical Studies department in the following fields: Psychology, Ecology, Biology and Physics.
Candidates should have a PhD, or have dissertation pending, or have an appropriate degree in their field of specialization. College teaching experience and a record of scholarly research and publications is desired. English is the language of instruction and an EEC work permit is required.

Paris College of Art (PCA) is a small U.S. accredited art and design university, preparing students for undergraduate degrees in communication design, design management, fashion design, fine arts, illustration, and photography. We are currently developing a website and electronic news alert for the broader public: my.paris.edu. This English-language site will be devoted to art, fashion, cinema, photography, animation, design ,etc. in Paris, and offer a combination of daily deals and recommendations and more in-depth reviews of shows, exhibits, and electronic and print publications.
We are looking for writers who are interested in, and up to speed on, what’s happening in the art, design and fashion worlds (very broadly) in Paris.

We are currently seeking a new Records Manager for the Office of the Registrar to manage all records related to student matriculation, advising, credit, graduation and transcripts. Paris College of Art uses Jenzabar EX for its electronic record management and the selected Records Manager must be committed to continuously improve mastery of this and other technological tools.
Responsibilities
The Records Manager in the office of the Registrar works with the Director of Academic Advising to plan, coordinate and supervise the academic components of preregistration, registration, add/drop procedures, and graduation for all academic sessions. The records manager interacts daily with students, faculty, and staff.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Plan, coordinate, supervise the academic components of preregistration, registration and add/drop procedures for all academic sessions, ensuring that all new and returning students are registered in a timely and accurate manner, distribute registration information to students, faculty, and administrative offices.
- Supervise the coordination, evaluation and certification of all graduation applications.
- Take part in communicating to students information related to curriculum, course selection, participation, attendance, and academic policies and procedures.
- Keep track of student grievances and disputes as they relate to grades, records and registration; oversee grade appeals and disciplinary committees; document student problems and their resolution.
- Develop and maintain statistical data on student retention/attrition, from data analyze causes and propose solutions to the Executive Director to improve retention.
- Schedule courses and classrooms and establish the academic calendar based on input from the Director of Academic Advising and the Department Chairs.
- Communicate in an effective and timely manner with Director of Academic Advising, Dean, Executive Director, College Council, and other members of the College community.
- Support a service-oriented culture in the Registrar's Office that provides a positive working relationship with students, faculty and other administrators.
Competencies and prior experience
The successful candidate will have a solid knowledge of the U.S. higher education system, facility with learning and mastering the use of software, and a patient and positive attitude in dealing with students, faculty and staff. In addition to fluency in English, the candidate should have conversational mastery of spoken French at the minimum. Key competencies and prior experience include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Valid EU working papers
- First-hand knowledge of the U.S. higher education system and the functions of a Registrar's office
- Problem-solving skills and the desire to learn new software programs
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Attention to detail
- Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task

Salary: Contingent upon experience

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Develop new exchange program and study abroad collaborations, find new partners, follow agreement negotiations until signature, follow up with information, sending materials, answering inquiries by email, and receive student applications.
- Oversee the transfer and outbound study abroad and mobility students, run info sessions, distribute and receive forms and application materials, answer student inquiries by email, phone and in the office, advise students about courses and programs at partner universities.

- Maintain and process data in student information system.
- Meet with prospective students and conduct school tours and review portfolios.
- Participate in the admissions committee decision meetings.
- Assist in the organization and implementation on-campus events such as bi-annual Orientations and Open Houses.
Requested Qualifications:
