Les Doctoriales du Design supports faculty PhD research by collaborating with Institut ACTE Université Paris I and by conducting regular discussions on PhD development and research at the Lieu du Design near Bastille.
In 2010, a consortium of banks and insurance companies asked Collection to address the question: how to restore customer trust?
Titled the FiDJi project, the resulting research, conducted by a team of faculty members, ethnologists, researchers and designers, was officially recognized and found to be innovative by the prestigious "Finance Innovation" organization that brings together the leaders of the finance industry in France.
Recent research projects include collaborations with electricity giant EDF, fashion brand American Retro, and Le Laboratoire, as well as Nekoé an alliance of business, academics and researches on the sbject of excellence and innovation in service design.
