Professor

Artist, photographer, illustrator and graphic designer. Born in Belgium, he studied graphic design, photography and ceramics at the London College of Printing and at the Rhode Island School of Design, from he graduated, BFA in 1978; achieved an anthropology degree at Brown University. Work history Worked in New-York for designer Georges Nelson, then Arnold Saks – Whitney Museum. Moved to Paris as co-art director for Le Nouvel Observateur along with Robert Delpire. Worked with Henri Cartier-Bresson on his Drawings catalog. Co-Founded the graphic design agency Polymago, committed to institutional and cultural assignments (Centre George Pompidou, Cité des Sciences-La Villette, Domaine de Versailles…). Leave the agency to work out achievements in artistic photographs and editorial photo illustrations (Le Monde magazine, l’Express and various cultural posters…). Teaching experience ENSA de Cergy-Pontoise, ENS Cachan, ESAC de Pau, Master program ECV Paris, HEAD Genève, etc. Lectures “Revue Parlée, Centre George Pompidou; Cycle “Transmission”,Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris ; and various art schools in the US.
