Clarens received a Masters Degree in Architecture in 2006 at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris Belleville.
He was a Jury guest at the Columbia University Paris and Ecole Bleu. He was also an assistant for a year and a jury guest for École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture Paris Belleville. Clarens was a Professor for four years at the Paris American Academy.
First started at the Office of Metropolitan Architecture as a Trainee, but worked up as a Junior Architect. He continued on at the Manuelle Gautrand Architecte as Junior Architect. Clarens became an Architect at the Louis Paillard Architecte. With the same title of Architect he worked with Philippe Gazea Architecte.
