Rob Dückers is Assistant Director for Administration and Management at Emerson’s Kasteel Well campus in the Netherlands. Next to his duties as administrator, he also teaches courses in Art History. His academic interests lie in manuscript illumination and medieval church-treasures. He regularly publishes and lectures on these subjects. Rob curated several internationally acclaimed exhibitions, mostly on late-medieval illuminated manuscripts. These exhibitions featured loans from important museums and collections all over the world. In addition, he is also on the board of the Treasury of the Basilica of Saint Servatius in Maastricht (NL), which has the finest collection of medieval and post-medieval ecclesiastical art in situ in the Netherlands.
