Photopia in Cairo Hosts a Conversation with Kegham Djeghalian about Studying Photography at Paris College of Art
Kegham Djeghalian, Art Director, Visual Artist, Fashion Stylist, and Adjunct Professor in Paris College of Art’s MA in Fashion Film & Photography, will present the recent PCA X Pairs Project in which Fashion Editorial students developed their own approach and project, adapting their aesthetic universe to the DNA of the Pairs Project bookzine format. As well, Kegham will provide information about the Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Photography offered by Paris College of Art. The Photography programs offered by PCA are:
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography (BFA): prepares students to enter the profession of photography in a variety of applications including fashion, fine arts, portraiture, still-life, etc. or to continue their studies on the graduate level. This is a four-year program.
Master of Arts (MA) in Fashion Film & Photography: graduates will be ready to take on the challenges of the international job market with specific knowledge and skills in photography and film, but also with a greater understanding of the fashion market and its associated professions. This is a one-year program.
Master of Arts (MA) / Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Photography & Image-making: students gain specific knowledge and skills in photography and image-making, but also in a wide range of disciplines and fields, including fine art, commercial photography, video and multimedia production, editing, college-level education, web design, curating, and museum & gallery management. The MA is a one-year program the MFA is a two-year program.
Time permitting, Kegham will conduct portfolio reviews.
