MA in Fashion Film and Photography Students visit London College of Fashion

Through our ongoing academic collaboration with the MA in Fashion Photography of London College of Fashion and MPS in Fashion Photography of the School of Visual Arts (NYC) students from the three programs meet and work together for a few days each year.

Last month PCA students travelled to London where the students of all the programs presented their work and ongoing MA thesis projects to each other. As well, they met with Karoliina Barlund, Creative Director at ALVAR magazine, attended a panel discussion about Art in Polarised Times, had the great opportunity to visit fashion photographer/filmmaker Sølve Sundsbø’s studio and attended a seminar on Art & Commerce: Striking a Balance at The Photographer’s Gallery.

This collaboration is led by Klaus Fruchtnis, Chair of Photography (MA in Fashion Film and Photography at PCA), Paul Bevan, Program Director (MA in Fashion Photography) at LCF and Barry Sutto, Director of Operations (MPS in Fashion Photography) at SVA.

PCA is looking forward to hosting students from LCF and SVA next November, during Paris Photo and for the opening of the International Fine Art Photography Award winners exhibition at FotoFever.
