Mobile Film Festival Competition

1 mobile, 1 minute, 1 film

Students are invited to enter this year’s Mobile Film Festival. It is a completely digital film festival whose goal is to “discover, support and accompany talents from the whole world to become tomorrow’s directors.” Submissions are created only on mobile devices to remove economic constraints. Filmmakers are prompted to tell a story in just one minute. This year’s topic is Women’s Empowerment.

The festival offers a range of awards such as Best Director, Best Actress and Best Screenplay. The two grand prizes, the International Grand Prize and the French Grand Prize, each offer a 20,000€ production grant to the winners. 

The deadline to submit a short film is October 20, 2020. The online festival will showcase entries from November 12 to December 3, 2020. Finally, the award ceremony will be December 7, 2020.
