Counseling & Wellness
Mental health is as important as physical health, and PCA aims to promote good mental wellbeing.
We understand that managing academic pressures, personal stress, and the challenges of adapting to a new country can be overwhelming. To that end, we offer free of charge counseling services and fun on-campus activities to relieve stress.
Counseling Services
PCA has teamed up with English speaking and multilingual licensed mental health professionals in Paris. These services provide in-person or online counseling, offering up to five free visits per semester. A list of our current counselors and other recommended practitioners is available on our Mon Paris student portal. The list is not exhaustive; if you are having difficulty accessing healthcare of any kind, contact [email protected] for help and resources.
Confidentiality
Consultations are completely anonymous and PCA is not informed of who attends sessions nor would any information about your consultation be disclosed to us. When scheduling an appointment, remember to mention that you’re a PCA student so you won’t be charged.
PCA Wellness
PCA Wellness was created with a goal of providing the PCA community members with informative content and useful resources to maintain their physical and mental wellbeing.
It is currently run by the Student Life office, the Student Council and the Admissions office, who work jointly on putting together a monthly newsletter and hosting and promoting wellness events such as stress-free week, yoga on campus, and international self-care day.
If you are interested in helping PCA Wellness develop its initiatives, or if you want information about the resources available to you as a PCA community member, please contact [email protected].
