Hanna Nakaishi Reyes' Journey to Paris College of Art!
We are thrilled to share the inspiring journey of Hanna Nakaishi Reyes, a senior Apparel Design major at West Valley College, who embodies the promise of “Free College, Endless Possibilities!” With her passion for fashion and determination, Hanna will be transferring to the prestigious Paris College of Art in Fall 2025 to study in the heart of the global fashion capital.
Hanna’s path to fashion was not straightforward. After a career in data analysis and escrow, she decided to follow her long-held dream of becoming a fashion designer. With support from West Valley College, she rediscovered her passion, especially after participating in the WVC Art and Fashion Study Tour to Paris. This experience led to an invaluable opportunity: a one-on-one meeting with Lucas Maethger, Chair of Fashion Design at PCA, and connections that could shape her future in the industry.
