What you’ll learn: Contemporary illustration practices; French illustration tradition; how to adapt traditional techniques to the digital age; honing your artistic vision to create a concise illustrated artist book; portfolio development and preparing for a creative career

Where you’ll visit: Musée de la Chasse et la Nature, Marché Saint-Quentin, Buttes Chaumont, Pompidou museum, cafés and more

Course highlight: students will explore different techniques and mediums including sound recording, instagram stories, video, collage, gifs and more. Students will also visit an exclusive rooftop view of Paris and draw as far as the eye can see

Prerequisites: Some art experience, as intensive drawing and critical thinking is required

Level: Open to all

When: Session 2 (July 1 – July 12, 2024), Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
