Drawing for Portfolio in Paris: Concept Development
Give your portfolio a unique Parisian twist!
What you’ll learn: Improve control and skill with diverse drawing materials; learn the essential vocabulary and grammar of the visual language (i.e., space, shape, form, composition, light & shadow, color, and chiaroscuro.); practice experimental and contemporary drawing techniques; develop ideas and works for your portfolio for submission to an art school or university.
Where you’ll visit: Jardin des Plantes, Musée Rodin, Grande Galerie de l’évolution and other city monuments.
Prerequisites: Curiosity for transforming the conceptual to the visual, and readiness to learn to appreciate & discover extraordinary places & buildings
Course highlight: Experiments of human expression at the Rodin Museum
