Jessica Macor

Jessica Macor is an Italian born researcher, film programmer and curator specialized in hybrid, documentary, and experimental forms, based in Paris since 2009. In addition to international curating film exhibitions and retrospectives, she has collaborated with many festivals, including Cinéma du réel, FIDMarseille, Collectif Jeune Cinéma, LUFF and more recently with the Locarno Film Festival and Rencontres Internationales de Brive. She is a PhD candidate at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University. As a sound art and music enthusiast, she has been playing since 2017 in several Parisian noise/experimental acts.
