Honoring Students and Faculty
Paris College of Art proudly announces our second annual distinguished awards, the PCA Student Service Award and the Provost Award for Excellence in Teaching, as well as the inaugural Staff Spotlight Award in recognition of exceptional employee contributions to the PCA community. The PCA Student Service Award celebrates students who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to enhancing the college experience for their peers and the wider community, while the Provost Award for Excellence in Teaching honors faculty members who exhibit exemplary teaching practices and unwavering commitment to student success. These awards serve as a testament to PCA’s commitment to fostering a culture of service, leadership, and academic excellence within our vibrant community. Join us in celebrating and recognizing those who embody the spirit of service and excellence at PCA.

Call for Nominations
PCA Student Service Award
Do you know a student who has gone above and beyond to serve the PCA community?
This prestigious award recognizes currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to improving the college experience for their peers and the broader community.
Qualities of Ideal Candidates
- Dedication to volunteer service within the college (e.g., student organizations, committees, mentoring programs).
- Leadership and initiative in creating positive change on campus.
- Positive impact on the lives of fellow students, faculty, and/or staff.
Prize
The PCA Student Service Award recipients will receive a paper award and a 100€ gift certificate.
Nomination Process
Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to nominate a student who embodies the spirit of service and has made a lasting difference at PCA. A committee will review all nominations and select the award recipients. The recipients will be notified by April 30, 2026 and recognized at the Certificate Ceremony on May 5, 2026.
Submission Deadline
Nominations must be submitted by April 27, 2026. A committee will review all nominations and select the award recipients. The recipients will be notified by April 30 and recognized at the Certificate Ceremony on May 5, 2026.
Provost Award for Excellence in Teaching
Do you know an exceptional faculty member who inspires and empowers students?
This annual award recognizes faculty members who consistently demonstrate exceptional teaching practices and a profound commitment to student learning.
Qualities of Ideal Candidates
- Engaging and Effective Instruction
Creates a dynamic learning environment that fosters critical thinking, deep understanding, and intellectual curiosity in students. - Innovation and Creativity
Develops and implements innovative teaching methods that enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. - Positive and Supportive Learning Environment
Cultivates a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and empowered to participate. - Commitment to Student Success
Demonstrates a dedication to student success both inside and outside the classroom, readily providing guidance and mentorship. - Passion for the Discipline
Exemplifies a genuine passion for their field of study and inspires a love of learning in their students.

The Provost Award for Excellence in Teaching recipients will receive written recognition and will be honored at the Certificate Ceremony on May 5, 2026.
