Emilia Bergmark is a visual artist living and working in Malmö and Copenhagen. Her practice uses the source material from the narrative of the everyday, and in her work she rewraps phenomenological observations into poetic visual anecdotes in the form of writing, installation, film, and printed matter.

Education
Bergmark is currently finishing her master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. Previous education includes combined studies in art and graphic design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, with a special focus on Art and research, as well as a year of studying at, and running, the alternative education initiative ‘School of the Damned’ in London.

Experience
Emilia co-designed the exhibition about assignments in design education ‘Taking a Line for a Walk’ at the 26th International Biennial for Graphic Design Brno 2014 and most recently co-edited the book under the same title with Nina Paim and Corinne Gisel.
