Pia Bienfait holds a BA double degree in Fashionjournalism, Fashionmanagement and Media-Communication from the AMD Akademie Mode & Design Hamburg and the University of South Wales. In 2024, she completed an MA in Fashion Film and Photography at the Paris College of Art.

Pia is a German creative director aiming to liberate the mind from the traditional constraints of the fashion industry. In a world that is often weighed down by its seriousness, her work is a surreal escape, offering a playful and thought-provoking perspective to the visible. Whether it is with her concepts for still or moving imagery she bends the rules, by recontextualizing her subjects and layering the uncanny and bizarre.

With experience in PR, copywriting, and as a Junior Producer, Pia brings a comprehensive understanding of the fashion industry. Her work has been featured in magazines like TUSH, and she has worked with clients such as YAMAHA whilst also focusing on the history of fashion and photography, which forms her perspective on the evolving landscape of fashion.
