Adjunct Faculty at PCA
Julie Gourdain has lived in Paris most of her life. She studied History and Aesthetics of Cinema at Université Paris 7, spent a year as an exchange student in Film Studies at Wesleyan University (Connecticut, US), and then specialized in film direction in a Master’s in Film Studies at ECAL / HEAD (Lausanne, Switzerland). She was a founding partner in StudioFly, a drone photography company, and wrote and directed Un grand silence, produced by Offshore (Prix Unifrance 2016, Sélection César du court-métrage 2016). She is currently developing her first feature-length film to be produced by Offshore, which recently obtained a grant for development from the CNC (2022). In addition, she regularly works on casting for feature-length films and series.
