Spencer is a producer and creative director of branded video campaigns, commercials, and documentaries. He’s the managing partner and executive producer of ONLYCH1LD, a production company based in San Francisco and Paris, where he oversees all aspects of content development for agencies and brands including strategy, creative, production, and editorial. Previously he was the senior producer of content at the NYC-based ad agency The Concept Farm, where he oversaw video and photography campaigns on multiple platforms including television, digital, social, print, and out-of-home. Before joining the Concept Farm he was the production secretary for the Sony Pictures Entertainment feature film “21”, featuring Kevin Spacey,  Kate Bosworth, and Laurence Fishburn. Spencer started his career at Foreign Policy magazine, coordinating its worldwide content distribution strategy, before joining director Jared Goodman to produce the feature documentary Captive Beauty, co-produced by @radical.media and distributed on Starz, Netflix, and Al Jazeera. The film is about an all-female prison in Medellín, Colombia, that hosted a beauty pageant inside the jail.

Education
BA in Hispanic Studies, Principia College. Further studies include politics, economics, and city planning at The University of Havana, Cuba; comparative religions abroad in Vietnam, China, and Tibet; and an exploration of media and literature’s influence on politics in post-apartheid South Africa.
