Denise Monczewski is a visual artist based in Berlin and Paris

Education

Exhibitions and awards
Denise’s work has been exhibited in galleries and festivals worldwide including the Pingyao International Festival of Photography in Pingyao, China; the Auckland Festival of Photography in Auckland, New Zealand; the Sheila C. Johnson Design Center in New York; Photoville in Brooklyn; and the Gallery of the Association of Icelandic Artists in Reykjavík.

She has been awarded residencies and fellowships at the Récollets in Paris; the Nairs Center for Contemporary Art in Scoul, Switzerland; SÍM in Reykjavík, Iceland; and the Trélex Residencies in Switzerland and Paris.
