William C. Nixon

William C. Nixon is a writer, director, and cinematographer based between Paris, Berlin, and Los Angeles.

Education
He holds Bachelors’ in both Film and Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated in 2012.

Professional Experience
He has shot and/or directed short films & content for Vogue, Nike, Adidas, Maison Kitsune, Pull & Bear, i:D and Fantastic Man.

William has also lived and worked in New York City, where he assisted on feature and series sets for directors including Steven Spielberg, Steve McQueen, Martin Scorsese, Alejandro Gonzalez-Iñárritu, Darren Aronofsky, Steven Soderbergh, Ryan Murphy, and Rupert Goold. He closely assisted acclaimed music video director Diane Martel, and studied acting with legendary coach Larry Moss, whose technique has immensely influenced his approach to writing and directing.
