Adjunct Faculty

After earning degrees in interior architecture and product design, Marine Peutat returned to knitwear, her first passion. In 2012, she graduated as a knitwear designer and pattern maker from the École de la Maille de Paris, before gaining professional experience through assignments at the Sonia Rykiel studio, followed by a collaboration with Alice Lemoine for Le Moine Tricote.

She then began working as a freelance knitwear consultant and product developer, supporting brands and trend agencies in the design and development of knitwear collections. Her collaborations include Peclers Paris, Linnea Lund, Nohé, Pic de Nore, DMC, Chamade, among others.

Alongside her consulting practice, Marine has developed a strong commitment to education and knowledge transmission. She designs and leads knitwear-focused workshops in several art and fashion schools, and has been teaching knit sampling on knitting machines at the École de la Maille de Paris since 2014.

Since 2023, she has held the position of Co-Director for Pedagogy and Administration at the school, where she actively contributes to the development of academic programs and the school’s broader outreach.
