Education
After studying literature at the Sorbonne-Nouvelle, Raphaël Rivière went on to study filmmaking in Switzerland at the Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne. He graduated in 2011. Subsequently, he also trained specifically in screenwriting at Fémis, where he obtained a Master’s degree in 2016.

Professional Experience/Clients
Based in Paris, Raphaël Rivière worked as Director and screenwriters on several fiction and documentaries. He is also reader for the production company Studiocanal. EN HAUT DE l’AFFICHE his first documentary as a director was shown on 2014 on ARTE, french-German TV channel. His last one, LE CENTRE co-directed with Alexandre Donot is released in 2023 on France Television and Public Sénat.
As a screenwriter he worked with Iranian director Emad Dekhordi on his feature film Chevalier noir which won an award In Marrakech international film festival. He is know working on the 1st feature film of the director Soufiane Adel, Suleyman le magnifique.
