Felipe Russo is a photographer from São Paulo, Brazil. Felipe has a degree in Biology with a major in Landscape Ecology, disciplines that still inform his creative process. For the past eight years, Russo has produced works using photography and video around São Paulo’s downtown district with an interest on the overlap of history, social use and memory found in the cities current physical structure.

Teacher at Escola Panamericana de Arte e Design, São Paulo, Brasil. Workshops at Madalena Centro de Estudos da Imagem, (São Paulo, Brasil) and La Fototeca Guatemala ( Guatemala City, Guatemala). Thesis critics for Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (São Paulo, Brasil ) and Madalena Centro de Estudos da Imagem (São Paulo, Brasil).
