Education
BA(Hons) Photography The Surrey Institute of Art & Design (UK); Master in Art Theory, Goldsmiths College, London; Ph.D. in Fine Arts, Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Spain.

Work Experience
He is currently the director of the Master of Photography and Design at ELISAVA, Barcelona; director of the Master in Photography, Polytechnic University of Valencia and Director of the online Master in Photography and Design at Shifta.

He has edited several books on Photography theory as “Instantáneas de la teoría de la fotografía” (Arola, 2009), “Álbum de familia” (La Oficina, 2013) y “Álbum de familia y prácticas artísticas” (2018). HE has also published articles in numerous specialized media, and has been editor of the journal ‘Philosophy of Photography’ (Intellect Books, London).

He has curated multiple photography exhibitions and directed numerous photography congresses. He is currently the chair of ANEF, the Spanish Association for the Education of Photography, and the director of ViSiONA, a cultural image-based project organized by the Provincial Council of Huesca, Spain.
