PCA Alumni Eliza Deviataikina Presents Work at La Parisienne Paris
Eliza Deviataikina, who graduated from PCA in spring 2016, is based in Paris. She considers herself as being part of the Armenian diaspora and this personal identity and origin a vital part of her work.
“I like to capture the beauty of the human body using strong gestures to decompose and reconstruct in order to create abstract or figurative forms which carry humanly presence”
She presents an exhibition based on the concept “fragment:” the fragments that constantly appear in our lives that we allow to slip away unnoticed.
Her paintings are about transcribing and piecing together the puzzle of her heritage through the affinity of form, color and the moment.
Eliza’s work is available for sale on Early Work.
