Klaus Fruchtnis, Chair of Photography, has been invited to curate the exhibition Frontera/Diáspora “Geografias Variables” at the Consulate General of Colombia in Paris. Fruchtnis is an active member of the Cultural Committee of the Colombian Consulate in France.
The exhibition Frontera/Diáspora “Geografias Variables” with photographers Laura Quiñonez and Luis Alejandro Cuéllar is part of the Latin America and Caribbean Week in Paris, France. The event is promoted by the Senate and Government of France and organised with the desire to strengthen the collaboration between France and Latin America as well as Caribbean countries.
Throughout the week, distinct academic and cultural activities will take place around the country. This exhibition focuses on the new generation of artists that live and work abroad, nurturing their own work by the new culture(s) in which they live.
