What you’ll learn: How B&W photography makes us see differently; techniques in exposure and camera function; processing film in a darkroom; developing a personal concept; comparing 19th and 20th century photography to contemporary B&W practices
Where you’ll visit: Eiffel tower, Parisian neighborhoods, museums, markets, Canal Saint Martin
Course highlight: Project to find and photograph the “true Parisian”
Prerequisites: A desire to explore what we take for granted when experiencing life in color
