The Summer Program at Paris College of Art offers an exciting set of courses with a modern edge in the historically and artistically rich city of Paris. In these two and four-week long courses, introductory through advanced level students will explore art, design, business, culture, and language.

General Information

Registration for Summer 2015 will be available by Nov. 1, 2014.

An international faculty comprised of professional artists and designers will guide students through the colorful streets and neighborhoods of Paris. Through field trips to museums, studios, boutiques, and design organizations, students will take advantage of the abundant resources the city has to offer; Paris will serve as both a subject matter and a source of inspiration. Studio work, lectures, and independent research projects will allow students to develop new skills, refine their understanding of art and design, and create portfolio pieces for college or graduate school admissions.

Areas of study include Liberal Studies/Art History, Communication Design, Fashion, Fine Arts, Illustration, and Photography.

We offer two-week and four-week long courses; all of our four-week long course include French Language instruction. Courses are offered by level: Pre-College: Must be at least 16 years old at the start of the program and Undergraduate + Adult: Must be at least 19 years old or a rising second-year university student at the start of the program, or individuals who have completed bachelor level studies and/or working professionals

All courses, with the exception of French language courses, are taught in English. As all courses are taught intensively (five days a week, from 9am to 4 or 5pm), only one class may be taken at a time. Some undergraduate and adult level courses will require independent student research and participation in group projects. These challenging assignments will allow students to gain an enhanced personal creative identity.
