In The Making, 2024 graduating class End-of-Year Design Show

“In the Making” is more than just an exhibition—it’s a testament to the symbiotic relationship between designer and creation.

This end-of-year show will include work by graduating students of the Communication Design and the Fashion Design departments, as well as the graduating students of the Interior Design undergraduate and graduate degrees, Foundation and Certificate students. Students from the Film Art department will also present their works in progress. They will converge to unveil their final projects, each piece a reflection of the intricate layers of their design process.

“In the Making” speaks to the essence of creation, where tools, gestures, thoughts, perspectives, and materials link to breathe life into every vision. Here, the journey from rudimentary elements to profound expressions unfolds, each project a testament to the transformative power of our building blocks and tools. Here, we celebrate the beauty found in uncertainty—the allure of the unfinished, the unsewn hem, the unsanded wood, and the typographical sketches that precede the grand reveal. “In the Making” is a celebration of the process—the moments of ambiguity, the decisions made, and the raw potential waiting to be unveiled.

From inception to completion, « In the Making » embodies creative exploration, inviting us to cherish every stage of the design journey.
