Paris College of Art is thrilled to invite you to the GBFA Capstone Screenings: Static Blooms, a vibrant showcase of the most exciting works by our Film Art alumni. Come experience a dynamic mix of short films that explore memory, identity, fantasy, and the human experience, followed by Q&As with the filmmakers who bring these stories to life.

  • In fondo al lago – Nolan Anderson & Samsha Masson, 40 min
    Follow 11-year-old Serafina as she navigates the myths, memories, and dreams of a remote Italian town.

  • Proposals for the Interpretation of a Dream – Nurain Amin, 16 min
    A young woman confronts faith, memory, and trauma while decoding a recurring dream about a mysterious house.

  • OA Fixes Everything – Aidan Paniagua, 20 min
    A struggling HR worker replaced by an A.I. microwave discovers a business that can fix everything—even himself.

  • 归来去 Rulai – Sitong Lu, 20 min
    A young woman finds clarity amidst the chaos of a floating world, or simply, a way to return.

  • Half Fever – Walter Albrecht, 14 min
    Two researchers are thrust onto an unfamiliar planet, confronting the unknown.
