Rachael Woodson is an American visual artist based in Paris. Her work considers the photographic medium in a larger, interdisciplinary context and engages methods that favor actions and forms which reuse and reactivate images from the archive, that focus on process as opposed to finality and that allow for a fluidity between different artistic gestures.

Teaching/Research Experience
Educational experience includes doing workshops with high school students within the framework of Le BAL’s educational program La Fabrique du Regarde, consulting as visiting artist at the Centre Michel Serres – heSam Université, and teaching at MJM Graphic Design, Harlem School of the Arts, Chelton Loft and School of Visual Arts.
