Launched in 2014, FashionTech Week Paris is an annual event that brings together emerging practices in contemporary fashion and design. In the same year FashionTech’s was born, the ESCP Europe Fashion and Technology department created the Lectra Chair, which is a device for research, teaching, and transmission on the theme of FashionTech in France. The Fashion and Technology Chair of ESCP has been organizing FashionTech Week Paris since its creation, and for the first time this year, the FashionTech Expo on October 19, 2018.
The Fashion Tech Expo will occur on October 19, from 10:30am to 9:30pm, and will present new projects and products focusing on high tech and eco-citizen fashion. Those who participate in the exhibit are selected by Hall Couture and Les Ateliers de Paris with criteria ranging from innovative concepts, to relevance of the business model and project coherence. The 2018 exhibition will bring together about 30 exhibitors who will include unexpected clothing and jewelry designs as well as eco-friendly solutions and web interface products.
