Paris College of Art is thrilled to host the presentation of the Future Generation Art Prize 2023. During the event, Bjorn Geldhof, Artistic Director of PinchukArtCentre, will introduce the Future Generation Art Prize to artists interested in applying, focusing on the history of previous editions, offering suggestions to applicants, explaining the criteria used to select shortlisted artists, and the importance of participating in the awards to develop one’s own artistic practice. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.

The Future Generation Art Prize is an award for emerging artists launched in 2009 by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation (Kyiv, Ukraine). As an international contemporary art prize for the young generations of artists, it aims to discover, recognize and provide long-term institutional support to participants.

The open call for the 7th edition of the Future Generation Art Prize is open until April 30, 2023. Artists around the world  and under the age of 35 may enter the competition through an open call online application. The exhibition of the artists shortlisted for the prize will be on view at PinchukArtCentre in Kyiv in October 2023 and in conjunction with the 60th Venice Biennale in April 2024. The main prize winner will receive US $100,000 split between a $60,000 cash prize and a $40,000 investment in their practice. A further $20,000 is awarded as a special prize between up to five artists at the discretion of the jury for supporting projects that develop their artistic practice.
