On November 4, Paris College of Art and MAISON de SABRÉ celebrated the launch of the Palais Bag collaboration at Le Bon Marché, marking a special moment of exchange between education, craftsmanship, and the fashion industry.
As part of this partnership, eight Fashion students from Paris College of Art were invited to reinterpret the Maison’s iconic Palais Bag. Each student approached the project with their own creative vision, transforming the bag through unique explorations of materials, textures, craftsmanship, and technique.
The collaboration encouraged students to experiment while engaging with an established luxury brand. By reimagining a signature design, they were able to push the boundaries of the object and express their individual design language, demonstrating how emerging designers can bring fresh perspectives to iconic products.
The launch event at Le Bon Marché showcased the results of this collaboration, highlighting the dialogue between design education and professional practice. Projects like this provide students with the opportunity to engage directly with industry partners, gaining valuable insight into the processes and expectations of the fashion world.
Paris College of Art would like to thank Maison de SABRÉ, Lucas Meathger, and Le Bon Marché for supporting emerging designers and for creating a platform where education, creativity, and industry intersect.
