For two weeks Véronique Devoldère, Chair of Fine Arts and MA/MFA in Drawing and Chloe Briggs, Chair of Foundation and Co-Supervisor on the MA/MFA in Drawing worked at PCA on a 14 meter-long collaborative drawing titled, We Drew a Garden. The roll of paper was installed in the gallery/student lounge space at the school where the drawing evolved. The public process – the: act of drawing, decision-making, improvisation, erasing and re-making – was shared with colleagues and students over the course of the ten days and was an opportunity to share the philosophy behind their exciting project for the new masters in drawing starting in Fall 2017.
