PCA Faculty Christophe Beauregard book launch in June 2024

Christophe Beauregard’s (PCA Faculty in the Photography Department) new art book, co-authored with the famous historian of art Paul Ardenne, delves into the concept of the absolute through an essay and photographs. His unreleased images explore the interplay of language and reflections in our contemporary society, highlighting the tensions between social conformity and the desire for uniqueness, as well as our daily quests for the absolute and the signs that reveal them. A contemporary artistic project featuring an author/photographer duo exploring the notion of the absolute. In juxtaposition to Paul’s essay, Christophe’s photographs—digital, analog, taken with phones, in studios, or while traveling—offer a playful glimpse into life’s little absolutes, mostly unseen, yet portrayed with humor!
