Paola de la Peña, PCA Fine Arts class of ’17, has been selected to spend one month at the Artist Residency Pinea / Linea de Costalocated in Cadiz, Spain.
During this Residency she will develop her new art project that involves robotics and gathering materials found in the city to create a kinetic sculpture. As Cadiz is a costal city, wind will probably play a vital role in the creation of her work. Not only will Paola have the opportunity to create new work, she will also get to experience Spanish culture and enjoy the sunny weather and the rocky cliffs of Cadiz.
