Celebrating 10 Years of Transdisciplinary New Media at PCA

10 Years of Creative Flow — Pixel Shifting: An Online Exploration of Digital Art

Dates: 25–30 September 2025

Format: Global | Online | Collaborative

As the culminating event of the MTNM 10th anniversary celebration, Pixel Shifting invites artists, alumni, and digital explorers from around the world to participate in a real-time, collaborative art experiment conceived by Jacob Karr (2Y MTNM).

Inspired by the generative pixel works of German artist Kim Asendorf, this project transforms the concept into a human-driven experience. Over the course of 5 days, participants will shape a dynamic, living canvas—pixel by pixel, gesture by gesture—using only their mouse pointer.

This evolving artwork will stand as a lasting emblem of MTNM’s commitment to transdisciplinary practice, digital poetics, and collaborative creation.

Make your mark. Move. Shift. Create! Your invitation awaits: 10-years-of-creative-flow.fly.dev
