Sayana Gonzalez, Fashion Design class of '14, Launches her Debut Collection for Maison DeWar
Sayana Gonzalez, Fashion Designer and Creative Director living between Europe and India, just launched her debut collection, under her late grandmother’s label, Maison DeWar.
The brand, created in 1938 in Europe, moved to Argentina at the outbreak of WWII, and closed at the creator’s death. Gonzalez is now bringing her heritage back to life through her own interpretation of the Maison’s credo, luxury clothing informed by art and culture and the creation of wearable art works.
Her collection is comprised of elegant jackets mixing a modern cut with traditional embroidery craftsmanship, as well as minimalist leather accessories with an impeccable finish. PCA wishes her the best in this new creative endeavor!
