Class of ’13 Maram Aboul Enein has been nominated for the Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards!

CAFA was created to celebrate outstanding achievement and emerging talent in the Canadian fashion industry. Mandated to grow a stronger appreciation of Canadian talent both at home and abroad, the goal of CAFA as a national platform is to foster the next generation of Canadian talent through an annual awards show and year-round economic development initiatives.

Since graduating from PCA with a BFA in Fashion Design, the talented young designer has steadily built her fashion house MARAM. Just to name a few, her company has been featured in Elle Canada, shown at the prestigious tradeshow Tranoï, and presented at the International Fashion Showcase ‘Utopia’ in London.

MARAM has been nominated for the 2017 CAFA awards under The Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent, Fashion: the award for an innovative Canadian designer who is emerging as a true creative force in Canadian fashion.

The nominees have been selected by a nominating committee made up of 40 industry professionals from across the country. Winners will be selected by a separate Jury made up of influential members of the Arts and Fashion community. All winners will be announced at 4th annual Awards on April 7, 2017 in Toronto.

Good luck Maram!
