What you’ll learn: How to strengthen your ability to sketch and quickly record information; learn what makes the identity of famous Parisian buildings through sketches and photos; develop your cultural understanding and knowledge of the history of Parisian architecture; provide inspiration for future designers projects; improve your capacity to see and feel
Where you’ll visit: Notre Dame Cathedral and the holy chapel, Musée Rodin, Chateau de Versailles, Orsay station and Museum, Museum of Montmartre, Garnier’s Opera, the Galerie Vivienne, Villa Savoye, Vuitton Foundation, Pinault Foundation, Jardin d’Acclimatation
Course highlight: Lesson on the “strategies of power” followed by a visit to the palace of Versailles and on-site sketching
Prerequisites: Some basic drawing skills and an interest in architecture encouraged
