What you’ll learn: Basics of fashion illustration, including the movement of the silhouette and the proportions of the “fashion body”; exploring the diverse possibilities of various diverse media and techniques in fashion drawing; use of pastels, charcoal, watercolor, black ink, collage, and gouache; draw inspiration from the city of Paris, from masterpiece paintings to high-end street fashion; focus on your creativity, personality and imagination to create vibrant and contemporary fashion illustrations that represent your unique voice and your own style as an illustrator.

Where you’ll visit: Tuileries Gardens, fabric store, art and fashion museums including Palais Galliera, Palais Royal, Musée de L’Orangerie, Musée Yves Saint Laurent, and more

Prerequisites: Love for all things Fashion! Love to draw!

Course Highlights: Explore Fashion Illustration techniques inspired by the current fashion scene on the streets of Paris (Luxury brands to Thrift shops), fashion exhibitions, and visits to art museums.

Level: Open to all
