What you’ll learn: Through demonstrations, workshops and studio sessions, this course offers basic knowledge of jewelry making techniques. We will explore jewelry making and learn how to handcraft beautiful pieces using base metalssilver, and experience Paris as an extension of the classroom

Where you’ll visit:  The Musée des Arts Décoratifs and its jewelry galleries, we will meet actors of the Parisian and French jewelry world. We will also visit the famous Place Vendôme, home to many iconic jewelry houses, such as Van Cleef and Arpels, Cartier, and more.

Course highlight: Gathering inspirations in different locations of Parisian life and designing a small collection of objects and wearable art, incorporating gemstones in our work

Prerequisites: A love of opulence and craftsmanship, no pre-requisites in terms of knowledge or skills

Level: Open to all

When: Session 2 (July 1 – July 12, 2024), Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
