On November 9th, Blurb, a self-publishing platform, will be hosting a workshop and discussion panel on the Paris College of Art campus. The workshop will enable students to design and publish their own books.

Joining the workshop led by the Blurb crew: Susan Rilmerman, Dan Milnor, and Kent Hall. This workshop will be hosted by Veronique Vienne’s Publication Design class. Students from the class as well as Communication Design Seniors, will be required to attend the event. Other interested PCA students are also welcome to join the workshop.

During the event students will be given a chance to work on a publication project, serving as a “kick-off” to start their own layout that they will finish by the end of the semester.

The platform presentation and the project kick-off will be from 2pm to 4pm. The panel discussion, which will be lead by Veronique Vienne, and includes Lucrezia Russo, and Dan Milnor, will be from 4 to 5pm.

Students are also invited to come and join additional events organized by Blurb in Paris such as Fisheye + Blurb Photo Storytelling on November 7th and Discovering the Lost Rolls on November 10.
