Introduction to Interior Design

What you’ll learn
Immerse yourself in the world of interior design within Paris’s vibrant art and design scene. This course introduces you to the fundamentals of interior design through a hands-on approach, including drawing, model-making, “look and feel” collages, mood boards, and more. Whether you’re considering advanced studies in interior design or simply seeking a taste of the field, this course in Paris offers an inspiring experience.

Visits to important design icons and exemplary destinations in Paris, you will discover interior design and Paris together.
Supplies
While PCA provides the essential tools for the class to run, students provide their own supplies. A list of required materials will be shared on the summer student portal before the start of the program. Expenses for supplies are estimated at between €30 to €150.
Course highlight
Exceptional access to famous interior designers’ studios in Paris and the grand finale of the course is an exhibit featuring the student work on PCA campus gallery Espace 15,including drinks.
Prerequisites
Some working knowledge of the vocabulary used within interior design, a strong sense of perspective, measurement, style, and spatial awareness are best to bring along in your luggage.
