Class of '24 Graduating Show at Bastille Design Center: Symbioses

Graduating students from the MA & MFA in Drawing, in Fashion Film & Photography, in Photography & Image-making and Transdisciplinary New Media, as well as BFA students in Fine Arts and Photography degree programs will be presenting their work in an exhibit titled “Symbioses” over four days at the Bastille Design Center.

Symbioses refer to the interaction between two or more organisms living in close physical proximity, often resulting in mutually beneficial outcomes. In the context of this exhibition, Symbioses extend beyond the biological realm to encompass the dynamic interplay between various artistic disciplines, including fine arts, drawing, photography, and new media. 

 Within the different studio explorations, Symbioses emerge as catalysts for innovation that push the boundaries of creativity. The synergy between different forms of expression gives rise to new meanings, narratives, and possibilities.
