Call for participation: Photo exhibition at PCA
The Photo department is launching a new collaboration project with Urbanautica, Plateforme and London College of Fashion. The “Blurring the lines” exhibition explores how the richness of possibilities of the photographic vocabulary is enhanced to the point of social and environmental awareness. The exhibit will be held at PCA during Paris Photo next November. Curators, Steve Bisson & Francois Ronsiaux, will select three professional photographers, 3 students from PCA and 3 students from UAL for the exhibition. Along with the exhibition, Steve Bisson will be hosting the PCA lunch talk “The yellow period of Van Gogh was actually a lack of blue?”
Filmessay will present a short selection of experimental videos taken from EVA a travelling festival on experimental architecture videos, featuring videoart works by Katerina Athanasopoulou, Rob Carter and Theo Tagholm.
Interested students, from any department, should submit one image for consideration to [email protected]
The final submission is a 2-dimensional, printed, image in size of A2 (42 × 59 centimeters) in landscape or portrait layout. Selected works can be printed at school.
