Design by Data Advanced Master in Computational Design, Digital Manufacturing and Building Technologies, the ENCP Master’s degree program that PCA is collaborating on, is organizing a conference at La Gaîté Lyrique and have invited Eric Vernhes: a multidisciplinary artist, architect from the Paul Virilio studio, scriptwriter, filmaker and musician.

In collaboration with Paris College of Art, Ecole des Ponts ParisTech is now offering an Advance Master in Computational Design and Making. The aim of this program is to provide students with a cross-disciplinary culture of computational design, from parametric conception to extensive knowledge of the impact of digital design and making tools on artistic professions, design, urban planning, architecture and engineering.

Eric will reveal the creative process behind one of his works, Gerridae – a predictive and interactive text generator. Art work is now inspired by software tools and Eric plans to discuss the way in which technology, humans and nature bind or oppose each other.

Conference will be in French.
