PCA Lunch Talks: Collin Kluchman
Exalting Beauty
Collin Kluchman (born in 1996) is an American researcher, filmmaker, and artist. He received an MFA in Transdisciplinary New Media at Paris College of Art, France (2018-2020), and completed an undergraduate degree in English Literature and Film Studies at Colorado College, USA (2014-2018).
Along with creating sculptural video installations, he has collaborated with musicians to make films and live audiovisual performances. He has shown in film festivals in both the U.S. and Europe and taken part in exhibitions internationally as well. His work navigates the complicated relationships between the natural world and video as an artistic medium, often looking to literature for guidance. Infatuated with the vegetative, the corporeal and the technological, his work is elegiac, exalting beauty through the means of its destruction.
