Four of Lisa Salamandra’s large-format paintings from the series “My bicycle, my muse” (2008) will be featured in the contemporary art exhibition “Rebond, entre art et sport” at the Château des Tourelles in the Parisian suburb of Bois-Colombes.
“In sports, the rebound and mastery are essential. Numerous artists attempt to reproduce a form of movement in their discipline. As in sports, one needs to employ technique, numerous tries and research to master one’s art. The rebound puts into play notions of energy, movement, trajectory, power, tension, kinetics, and speed. Fourteen artists propose their offbeat, colorful vision with strong works! A great way to prepare for the approaching Olympic games of Paris 2024.
